What I can do to register my professionalism?
Within the landbased sector, there are many hard-working individuals. By demonstrating your accreditation under the independently administered and regulated LTA scheme, you can demonstrate your professionalism and capabilities.
There are four registration tiers but in order to progress beyond the entry tier (LTA1) you will need to demonstrate your technical knowledge, commitment and abilities. This can be done in several ways, but will need to include proof of attendance at appropriate training courses run by manufacturers or other organisations.
CPD Record
Your success with these and in other activities relevant to your career needs to be recorded or summarised in your CPD (Continuing Professional Development) record. This will need to be submitted as part of your request for transfer to the next grade.
Remember - A quality product demands a quality technician.
