Biosystems Engineering is the Official Scientific Journal of the European Society of Agricultural Engineers. Owned by the Institution of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE), published monthly, with occasional special editions, Biosystems Engineering is an international publication with the remit: 'Research in the physical sciences and engineering, to understand, model, process or enhance biological systems for sustainable developments in agriculture, food, land use and the environment'
The journal reflects the broad spectrum of interdisciplinary interests inherent in this field. It publishes mainly original research papers, but also includes in-depth review articles and short research notes to allow rapid communication of recent findings. All papers are refereed. Topics are broadly classified into the following nine Interest Fields:

Members of IAgrE may subscribe to Biosystems Engineering at the personal rate of £229 per year (2008 rate) for the paper edition or £52.88 (including £7.88 VAT) for the electronic edition.
