awards.
- One or more scholarships, each with a maximum value of £1750,

to study aspects of water management in agriculture, including irrigation. This
is an exciting opportunity from which many people have benefited in the
past.
The successful applicants will have prepared a well thought out and
costed proposal which highlights how they and the wider community will
benefit from the award. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to defend
their proposals at an interview in London on Wednesday 4 April 2007.
- The Trustees also administer an award of £500 on behalf of the
United Kingdom Irrigation Association (www.ukia.org). The focus
of this award must be an aspect of irrigation likely to benefit the UK
