IAgrE is a professional and learned body dedicated to the furtherance of landbased engineering and associated technologies.
By becoming a member of IAgrE, you are demonstrating a commitment to professionalism.
We have a number of grades of membership ranging from Student to Fellow. The Associate grade of membership is open to anyone working or indeed interested in the landbased engineering sector - regardless of qualifications.
As a licensed body of the Engineering Council (EngC) and a founding constituent body of the Society for the Environment (SocEnv), IAgrE is able to offer suitably qualified and experienced members the following professional qualifications:
Under the terms of its license from the Engineering Council, IAgrE is able to accredit suitable engineering degree courses for Incorporated Engineer and Chartered Engineer. Where such courses have been accredited under IAgrE's license, universities will be able to display the following logos in their Key Information Sets (KIS) on each relevant degree.


In addition to these professional qualifications, IAgrE runs the Landbased Technician Accreditation (LTA) scheme for technicians working within our sector.
